Remember Wake

On December 7, 2011 a new monument was dedicated at Veterans Memorial Park in Boise Idaho. On this day, the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Wake Island and the attack on Pearl Harbor, approximately 300 people gathered to honor the brave defenders of Wake Island - both civilian and military. This blog documents the efforts of an Eagle Scout and his project to make sure we do not forget this story.

Noah's Eagle Rank

Noah's Eagle Rank has been approved and will be awarded at his Troop 123 Court of Honor later this month. We truly appreciate all those who helped him reach this goal in scouting and the many that helped with his Eagle Project, the Wake Island memorial at Veterans Memorial Park.
